We collect only what we need to run the Partner Programme. We do not sell your data to third parties. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

1. Who We Are

Trading Rule Book operates the partner portal at partner.tradingrulebook.in. For privacy purposes, we are the data controller for all partner data collected through this portal.

3. Cookies & Tracking

When someone clicks your referral link, we set a cookie called trb_ref on their browser. This cookie:

Expires after 30 days
Is marked HttpOnly — JavaScript cannot access it
Contains only your referral code — no personal information
Is used solely to attribute a subscription to your account if the visitor subscribes

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on the partner portal.

4. How We Use Your Data

To operate your partner account and calculate earnings
To process payouts to your UPI or bank account
To send you account-related emails (verification codes, payout confirmations)
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Programme
To comply with applicable tax and financial regulations

We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or profiling. We do not sell or rent your data to any third party.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region — your data stays in India. AWS is ISO 27001 certified and compliant with Indian data localisation requirements.

We use the following technical safeguards:

All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or higher
All data at rest is encrypted using AWS KMS
Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only
Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled by AWS Cognito

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Partner Programme:

AWS Cognito — authentication and account management
AWS DynamoDB — storing partner and referral data
AWS CloudFront / S3 — serving the partner portal website

No data is shared with advertising networks, data brokers, or social media platforms.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to retention requirements for financial records)
Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the partner portal. Continued use of the Programme after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
